The Digital Accountability and Transparency Act of 2014 Implementation

This article is an overview of the DATA Act written by The Data Coalitiona trade association dedicated to the transformation of government information into standardized, open data.

The Data Act seeks to expand the Federal Accountability and Transparency Act to increase accountability and transparency in Federal Spending.  The DATA Act aims to eliminate many manual tasks that occur by automating the tasks of tracking spending on federal funds, uncovering fraud, and reporting on grants.
